Maximum contact area, minimal profile, fully serviceable. Maximum control with minimal height—our new flat pedal delivers uncompromising performance in a sleek design.

The generously sized platform provides your foot with a stable surface at all times. Whether you’re tackling technical root sections, rocky terrain, fast bike park lines, or long trail rides—this pedal delivers confidence and control.

A key factor in this riding experience is the well-thought-out pin geometry. The pins near the center of the axle are intentionally slightly shorter than the outer pins. This creates a slightly concave standing surface that positions the foot securely in the pedal and provides even more grip without restricting freedom of movement. The result is a natural, secure stance with exactly the right balance of grip and flexibility that modern trail, enduro, and gravity riders appreciate.

Riders who prefer a slightly less aggressive grip can optionally install our 8/10-mm pin kit. This shortens all pins by about two millimeters and offers an easy way to customize the pedal to your riding style and preferred footwear. With its ultra-low profile, the Flatpedal brings the foot as close as possible to the axle. The result is an exceptionally direct riding feel, efficient power transfer, and noticeably better feedback from the ground. Every shift in weight is translated immediately.

Even on the inside, the pedal consistently meets our standards for durability and ease of maintenance. The complete axle assembly, including the bearings, is screwed into the pedal body as a single unit. A specially developed wing lock reliably prevents the axle assembly from twisting within the pedal body. At the same time, it serves a second function: it acts as a tool for quickly and easily removing the axle assembly during maintenance or a bearing replacement.

The wing lock is secured with two hex socket screws. The required screwdriver size is included in virtually every standard bike multitool. No special tool is required. This means the pedal can be serviced at any time in just a few simple steps, whether in your home workshop or on the go. High-quality industrial ball bearings, a durable axle design, and a well-engineered sealing system ensure that dirt, water, and dust stay where they belong—outside the bearing. The result is consistently smooth operation, even under adverse conditions.

We deliberately designed the flat pedal so that it doesn’t end up as a wear-and-tear part. Bearings, seals, and all relevant service components can be replaced individually. If you’d like to do it yourself, you can quickly perform maintenance and bearing replacements on your own. Alternatively, our repair service will handle the repairs using original parts. For us, sustainability means developing products that function for many years and can be repaired as needed.

The pedal body itself has also been optimized down to the last detail. Its open design reliably prevents mud or small stones from getting stuck. The pedal largely cleans itself while riding, providing consistent grip and a precise riding feel even in challenging conditions.

Visually, too, the acros flat pedal follows a clean design language. In classic black, it integrates discreetly and unobtrusively into any bike—ideal for those who prefer understated style. The subtly anodized silver version adds a high-quality technical accent and highlights the precise CNC-machined construction without drawing undue attention to itself.

FAQ

The pins on the acros Flat Pedal are intentionally designed to be on the longer side. The focus is on maximum grip and a secure connection between shoe and pedal – especially on technical trails, enduro rides, and demanding terrain.

The strategically positioned pins create a slightly concave platform, keeping your foot securely in place while still allowing natural freedom of movement.

If you find the grip too aggressive or prefer to reposition your feet more easily, you can optionally install our shorter 8/10 mm pin kit. This reduces the pin length by approximately two millimeters, allowing you to fine-tune the grip to match your riding style, shoes, and preferred terrain.

The pins on the acros Flat Pedal are designed as wear parts and can be replaced individually. Even under the toughest riding conditions, it is extremely rare for a pin to shear off completely flush with the pedal body.

In most cases, the pins simply bend. Even then, the damaged pin can still be removed and replaced. Depending on its condition, it can usually be gripped with pliers and unscrewed. A new pin can then be installed – there is no need to replace the entire pedal.

For demanding trail riding and bike park use, it was important to us that individual components remain serviceable and replaceable. This ensures that your pedal stays reliable, functional, and ready for use even after many intense rides.

Yes. The acros Flat Pedal is generally suitable for riders with smaller shoe sizes. Thanks to its large platform, it provides excellent stability and a secure footing.

However, for riders with smaller feet, we often recommend the MD version of the acros Flat Pedal. Its slightly more compact platform can provide a more balanced combination of shoe size, support, and freedom of movement, making it feel more natural for smaller feet.

Ultimately, the choice between the MD and the Flat Pedal also depends on your personal riding style.

Yes. The acros Flat Pedal was deliberately designed to make maintenance and repairs as straightforward as possible.

The complete axle assembly, including the bearings, is threaded into the pedal body as a single unit. A specially developed wing lock prevents the axle assembly from rotating and also serves as the tool for disassembly. The lock is secured by two Torx screws, so no special tools are required.

Bearings, seals, and other service components can all be replaced individually. This makes it possible to maintain and service the pedal for many years.
