Today we take a closer look at the bike of Axel, who is responsible for all marketing issues at acros: Based on a Commencal Meta TR29 he has built his dream bike for all occasions. After a year in use the aluminium trail bike has now been equipped with some of the new acros components. Let yourself be inspired!
My Commencal Meta TR is a bike for all occasions. It's just as much fun on the after-work ride in Stuttgart as it is on harder trails in the Alps or even on a flow jumptrail.

Shock and fork are from Fox and provide 130mm rear and 150mm front suspension travel.
I really wanted an aluminium frame and a bike that not everyone has. So it became a Commencal Meta TR, which you still rarely see in our country.
The Nivo from Vecnum provides 192mm stroke - perfect for long legs! Due to the limited insertion depth in the frame the full 212mm cannot be used.
With 187cm height I am between frame size L and XL. I have decided for L, because I prefer to have it a little more agile.
The acros headset (zs44 / zs56) is used at Commencal as standard. And of course an acros-topcap as a motivator should not be missing.
Our mtb-carbon handlebars provide a considerable weight reduction and still look classy. White decals will not be available in series production for the time being, but black (stealth) and light grey (team edition) decals will be available soon.
As far as possible all decals on the wheel were "re-colored" white. The white stripes on the fork are even cut by hand.
Front and rear Magura MT7 brakes with 203 discs are mounted. In the rear a 203mm disc must be used, because the MT7 brake caliper cannot be mounted closer to the axle due to the limited space of the frame.
I have been riding our xc-sls-carbon wheelset for a year now to see how it performs in trail use. For lighter riders with a clean riding style, I can fully recommend the just 1,268g wheelset!
