In addition, the compression ring can be opened on one side so that it can be replaced without dismantling the cables. For enduro and bike park use, we recommend our aluminium ICR compression ring with article number 11.02.092-AM.

Seal on the Compression Ring
We vulcanize a self-reinforcing seal onto the compression ring. An extra-durable material prevents the seal from becoming brittle over time. This provides optimal protection for the bearing and minimizes friction.
Integrated Cable Routing (ICR)
The cables and brake lines are routed internally through the frame via openings in the headset cover and compression ring.
