There are two options: Either use a crown race puller tool (for example from Park Tool), or go with the DIY method. Carefully file into the crown race at the point where the wall thickness is thinnest, about halfway through. Then carefully crack it open at that point using a screwdriver and hammer. If you’re unsure about the procedure, feel free to contact our service team.
Our blocklock crown races feature a special polygon interface that prevents twisting on the fork steerer. This structure deforms when the crown race is pressed onto the fork. Once the crown race has been removed, it must not be reused.
