Strong enough to be light. Our nineteen-xc-boost-rear-hub is built for everyone who refuses to compromise on the trail or at the race – and still knows it's the details that make the difference. Whether it's steep climbs, technical singletrack or the sprint to the finish line at an XC race – this hub keeps up without complaint. With a 19 mm oversized axle in Boost standard (148 mm), the rear wheel sits rock-solid in the frame: more stiffness, more direct power transfer, more explosive acceleration. The kind of snappy, lightweight feel that makes the after-work ride twice as fun – uphill and down. Inside, double-sealed stainless steel angular contact bearings keep things running smooth – even after hours on the trail, in any weather. Bearing preload can be adjusted quickly with the included TX6 tool – no workshop visit, no missed training session. The ratchet freehub system with 38 teeth delivers direct, lag-free engagement – you pedal, it goes. And if you ever swap your drivetrain: the freehub can be changed between Shimano Microspline, Shimano HG and SRAM XD at any time – no new hub needed.

In-house manufacturing

At the heart of our product line are our nineteen hubs, manufactured at our headquarters in Renningen near Stuttgart. Here, we combine technical expertise, the highest quality standards, and precision manufacturing with a clear focus on durability. The result is hubs that impress with their reliability, efficiency, and long-lasting performance.

Let the riding do the talking

It doesn’t always have to be loud. Quite the opposite. The freehub of our rear hub can be adjusted to three different sound levels, so you can dial in exactly the sound that fits your ride. Add to that a subtle, all-black look: matte rims, glossy decals, clean branding. Let others shout — we’d rather let the grin on your face do the talking.

Skip the workshop. Keep rolling

Whether it’s cobblestones, back roads, or endless miles far from civilization – the nineteen hub is built for durability and easy serviceability. If needed, the bearings can be replaced easily by yourself, without special tools and without detours to the workshop. With our DIY tool, your wheelset will be ready for new adventures in no time.

FAQ

Lightweight, stiff and versatile: The acros nineteen XC Boost hub is designed for demanding cross-country and trail riding. Its 19 mm axle, high-quality angular contact bearings and precision ratchet freehub system combine low weight with outstanding stiffness and long-term reliability.

⦁ 19 mm axle for maximum stiffness ⦁ Designed for cross-country and trail riding ⦁ Freehub sound adjustable in three levels – from quiet to loud ⦁ 38-tooth ratchet freehub system ⦁ High-quality stainless steel angular contact bearings ⦁ Quick and easy bearing preload adjustment

We offer our mountain bike hubs in nearly all common hub widths and axle standards, so there's a good chance we have the right hub for your bike.

To ensure compatibility, compare the specifications of your frame and fork with our technical data. If you're unsure, our team will be happy to help.

Boost is a modern axle standard for mountain bikes. It uses wider hub spacing—110 mm at the front and 148 mm at the rear—which allows for a wider spoke bracing angle. This increases wheel stiffness and improves stability, especially on demanding trails and with modern frame geometries.

The Boost standard also provides additional clearance for wider tyres and an improved chainline.

No. The Boost standard is a fixed hub design and cannot be converted to a different axle standard. A Boost hub will always remain a Boost hub.

However, the freehub body can be exchanged to match different drivetrain systems. The hub is available with Shimano or SRAM-compatible freehub bodies. A Campagnolo-compatible freehub body is not available for this hub.

Our hub shells are manufactured from high-quality aluminium with exceptional precision. Each hub is CNC turned and CNC machined to achieve tight tolerances and its distinctive appearance.

The hub is then polished to a high-gloss finish before receiving a deep black glossy anodised coating. This premium anodised surface not only creates its striking appearance but also provides excellent protection against corrosion, abrasion and environmental influences, ensuring long-lasting durability even under demanding riding conditions.

wheels are highly technical components, and with the wide range of standards, dimensions and compatibility options, choosing the right setup can sometimes be challenging.
