Our bottom bracket tool is made for working on your bottom bracket, whether it’s to swap out the bottom bracket or simply replace the ball bearings.

(Pro tip: did you know that you can replace the ball bearings of our bottom brackets separately, so you don’t have to replace the whole thing? You can find the right replacement bearing set for your acros bottom bracket in our shop)

Yes, our bottom bracket tool will work with bottom brackets from other brands too, and it should be compatible with all common standards. However, since we were unable to test all 2,000,000 possible combinations, we can only guarantee the accuracy of the fit for acros bottom brackets.

Schrägkugellager können kombinierte Belastungen aus Radial- und Axialkräften, wie sie beim Pedalieren und im Wiegetritt auftreten, besonders gut wegstecken.

Wir nutzen ein Lagerfett, das speziell für die Anwendung in Steuersatzlagern optimiert wurde. Es ist besonders zäh und wasserresistent und trägt maßgeblich zur langen Lebensdauer der Kugellager bei.

Bei den von uns entwickelten Lagern handelt es sich um Industriekugellager mit einer zweifachen Doppellippendichtung. Sie verhindert, dass Wasser oder Schmutz in das Schrägkugellager eintreten und das Lagerfett entweichen kann.

Die Staubschutzkappe schützt das Lager zusätzlich und verhindert als Trennschicht zwischen Achse und Lager Knarzgeräusche. Verantwortlich dafür sind die selbst schmierenden und zähelastischen Eigenschaften der Schutzkappe aus Polyoxymethylen (POM).

Our bottom bracket tool fits all common bottom brackets on the market. More specifically, these include: BSA, T47, SRAM DUB, GXP and Hollowtech II. You can even use the tool to tighten or undo Shimano Center Lock rotors.

We’ve made a series of video explaining how to install our bottom brackets with our bottom bracket tool.

Our tool relies on a 1/2-inch socket. We recommend a normal ratchet for unscrewing a bottom bracket. When screwing a bottom bracket in, however, we recommend using a torque wrench and setting it according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
