It prevents contact between the handlebar, fork crown, and frame (top/down tube), while also reducing strain on cables and hoses. Important Note on the 150° Version: The 150° steering stop is not approved by all frame manufacturers! Using a steering stop with too wide an angle can cause frame damage. Please check with your frame manufacturer before installation.
