As long as your frame is designed to use a T47 bottom bracket and has a bottom bracket housing width of 86, 89,5 or 92 mm, the acros t47 bottom bracket will fit your bike! If you're unsure what kind of bottom bracket you need, our bottom bracket finder is here to help!

When you think about bottom brackets, sophisticated technology typically isn't the first thing to come to mind, especially when they simply do their job. Since our bottom brackets remain largely unnoticed as you ride, we'll tell you what sets them apart: double-sealed deep groove ball bearings made of stainless-steel, which have been specially optimized to deal with pedaling forces. The additional outside seal keeps out the elements, and shields the contact points between the crank spindle and the ball bearings. This effectively prevents creaking noises. For added protection, all acros bottom brackets come with a connecting sleeve between the bearing cups, which keeps the ball bearings free of dirt and moisture that may have gotten into the frame.

Unfortunately, all ball bearings eventually wear out, and there's nothing we can do about that (yet) either... For this reason, we've designed our bottom brackets to make the ball bearings as easy as possible to replace. Schrägkugellager können kombinierte Belastungen aus Radial- und Axialkräften, wie sie beim Pedalieren und im Wiegetritt auftreten, besonders gut wegstecken.

Wir nutzen ein Lagerfett, das speziell für die Anwendung in Steuersatzlagern optimiert wurde. Es ist besonders zäh und wasserresistent und trägt maßgeblich zur langen Lebensdauer der Kugellager bei.

Bei den von uns entwickelten Lagern handelt es sich um Industriekugellager mit einer zweifachen Doppellippendichtung. Sie verhindert, dass Wasser oder Schmutz in das Schrägkugellager eintreten und das Lagerfett entweichen kann.

Die Staubschutzkappe schützt das Lager zusätzlich und verhindert als Trennschicht zwischen Achse und Lager Knarzgeräusche. Verantwortlich dafür sind die selbst schmierenden und zähelastischen Eigenschaften der Schutzkappe aus Polyoxymethylen (POM).

There's nothing easier! Since you can easily change the ball bearings of our bottom brackets, you can simply choose the right bearing set for your crank spindle dimensions in our shop and run a different crankset! To swap out the bearings, we recommend our bottom bracket bearing tool, in addition to our bottom bracket tool, and a good helping of acros grease.
