our nineteen singlespeed rear hub

Our nineteen singlespeed rear hub isn't some standard off-the-shelf product. Rather, the hub shells are machined from solid aluminium and assembled entirely by hand at the company's headquarters near Stuttgart.

As ball bearing specialists, it's only natural for us to pay careful attention to detail here. In doing so, we've chosen to rely on 19 mm axles, which rotate on stainless steel angular contact ball bearings that have been optimised specifically for this purpose. By designing the hub around an oversized axle, we've been able to reduce the weight while increasing stiffness.

The result is an unbeatably light yet super stiff hub. We’ve changed the freewheel system from pawls to a ratchet mechanism. The hub shell is made of 6061 aluminium and features a regular flange.
